Hallway by =3Dswed is a beautiful calm 3D interior with gorgeous textures and lighting, which looks completely photoreal. (Suggested by ~kamizuki and Featured by ^joannastar)

So beautiful incredibly realistic ! Do you take photos of all the textures your self ? or do you paint any ?

:wow: Wow, This is amazing! Great job.

thanks.

I do some mix with photo refs in photoshop to obtain a more worked material.
As an exemple, wood for chairs is a mix of 4 wood maps, to obtain different veins.
This work on maps include sometime a handpaint to give some undertones.

3h 18mins :O thats nothing for a massive image like this!!!!! what kind of workstation/server do you have!!!!!! that looks so realistic!!

it's not more the workstation than the vray render optimization.
It's only cpu for calculating and i've a core2extrem 2.93Ghz, it's really great, but not the most powerful one.
vray setup for interior scene is very specific. One preset couldn't work anytime. you must to adapt for every scene you make and try to optimize.
Just habit in hand.

One of the most realistic renders I have seen on DA, fantastic job, the detailed texturing makes this piece really come alive well done. :) FAVE

because i have a amd FX-60 and 2gb of ram, and i use vray and for a scene that was ~1280x1024 took roughly 10-12 hours... and i mean it came out with less quality than yours... slightly more metal reflections than yours, what am i doing wrong? if you can lend a small hand :)
is it just tweaking all those little settings for the optimization? or are there specific settings?

Bien classe comme rendu, réaliste sans paraître trop propre, on a presque l'impression de regarder une photo.
